Rosa has been travelling the world working stints around the globe from New Zealand to Oregon and California (briefly farming with a cult owned vineyard - please google the fellowship of friends and Georg Gurdjieff for some light hearted entertainment).
Her quest for knowledge and experience led her to the Mosel in 2022 with the intention of staying for a year in this picturesque landscape. However, the valley's magnetic Rieslings have kept her there ever since. Settling in with Philip, they have quickly become the power couple this corner of the Mosel truly need. Together, they work 6 hectares of old, reclaimed, and punishingly steep vineyards - producing some of the most unique single-vineyard Rieslings and Pinots (of all colours) in the region.
We are really excited to bring in her wines to the UK for the first time. She brings a perfumed purity to Spätburgunder that feels excitingly fresh and different.

100% Pinot Noir
A pure Mosel Pinot. This is Rosa’s first vintage using grapes from her home village, from a vineyard called Bullayer Brautrock, whose soils are composed more of clay and slate rather than pure Mosel slate.
13 days maceration of tiny, thick skinned berries with only 4 punch downs. 14 months in barrel, 9 months in bottle before release. Full of perfumed, darker cherry fruit, spice and beautiful structure.

A Mosel Rosé of structure and interest. Pinot grapes picked early, 24 hours of cold maceration before pressing, fermentation in barrel and then bottled after 8 months.
